When it comes to baking supplies and decoration techniques, Miles Cake & Candy Supplies is the icing on the cake. A staple in the South Florida community for 20 years, the original company was launched by Richard N. Miles. At the time, it sold baking supplies, chocolate and cake decorating books.

In 2009, Honduran native, Adriana Cordoba took over the company. Adriana, who has a degree in hospitality management, also pursued baking and pastry at Le Cordon Bleu. She had even taken a few classes at Miles prior to purchasing the business.

Under her leadership, she expanded the store, and today, Miles offers the largest variety of baking supplies and classes for all-level bakers, and even children.

Novice, advanced bakers, and respected local pastry chefs all buy their supplies at Miles due to its wide selection. When you enter the colorful shop, you are greeted by an array of baking and cake decorating essentials including:

Our beginner classes teach the basics, while the advanced courses focus on honing skills and artistry. We’ll teach you how to make cake pops, decorate cookies and cakes, work with fondant, and create toppers. You can also learn how to work with gum paste flowers and carve whimsical, children’s and other themed cakes.
